We’re here to help answer any questions you have about the process of remodeling your home.
Whole home remodels can vary greatly in price for many reasons. When we get asked this question, we encourage clients to answer the question “How much does a bag of groceries cost?” Ultimately, it depends on what you want and how much can fit into a bag. A home remodel is the same concept — it depends on what you want done to your home and what kind of features and details you decide on. Typically, a whole house remodel can range anywhere from $300K to $2M.
Similarly to the previous question, the duration of your project can vary depending on the size, scope, permits, weather, inspections, supply chain delays, etc. We will review all of these things during the Job Development phase of our process so you have a full understanding of what is coming before we even start construction. Ultimately, we try our best to complete your project within the timeframe we agree on.
Yes! You are welcome in your home at any time. Some people even choose to remain living in their house during the remodel process depending on the size and scope of the project.
Not a problem! If you want to change something up, we’ll figure out any necessary changes to the contract price and time frame so that your project lines up with your vision. After all, we want your home to be exactly what you envisioned and dreamed of.
A mix of both! We have an excellent crew here at Dez-Dal and long standing relationships with specialty subcontractors and trade partners. Our goal is to make sure we finish your project with the quality you deserve and in a timely manner.
Typically, our payment schedule is broken down into about 4 payments. The first payment due at the time of signing the contract can vary depending on how much of the project includes special order items like cabinets, doors and windows. We promise to work with our clients as best we can in planning out the payments.
The best thing about having a PSA and building the estimate right, is that the contract price is the final price. The only way the price can change is if changes are made by the homeowner during the construction process.
We can provide an estimate. You can learn more about how our process works and how we offer estimates.
Planning, permitting, and the pre-construction process can take anywhere from 4 to 8 months. If you’re thinking about starting a remodel within the next year, we suggest you start now and we can get you on our schedule.
We can do a home remodel in stages, and sometimes that is the best way it will work for everyone. However, to save time and money overall, it is best to do it all at the same time.
We have found that projects flow more easily and turn out the best if we have control of the entire process from start to finish. It’s important to us to be the ones that provide all the necessary materials and labor to guarantee the warranty of a finished product of the highest quality.
Typically, every project that we do requires a permit. Having permits also assures the homeowner that everything is done according to code and looks good when it comes to selling the property someday.
Yes. If you already have a design or architecture plans, this simply removes some of the steps in our pre-construction process.
A PSA is an agreement between you and Dez-Dal Remodeling to develop a detailed scope of work. It will include hard bids from subcontractors, detailed material selections, and as close to accurate as possible timeframe for your project. Having an agreed upon PSA from the beginning makes the project run as smoothly as humanly possible once we “break ground”.

Yes, if you build with us then the cost of your PSA is credited against the building contract. However, if you choose to go another direction with your build the PSA fee is not credited.
